About the conference

The AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference on infectious diseases and diagnostic microbiology was hosted April 28- May 1, 2026, in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The annual conference supports the collective interests of physicians, laboratory professionals, students, medical laboratory technologists, and other health care professionals in the areas of diagnostic microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, and public health.

Scientific Program

The program features plenary and keynote sessions, state-of-the-art lectures, interactive workshops, Lightning Learning sessions, Masterclasses, and poster and abstract presentations offering valuable opportunities for learning, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

The exhibit hall showcases the latest innovations in diagnostics, therapeutics, and technology, providing a dynamic space to engage with industry partners.

If you have previously created an Oxford Abstracts profile (to submit or review abstracts, access conference content, or view recordings from a previous conference), simply log in using your existing account (using the same email address at which you received this message).

If this was your first AMMI Canada–CACMID Conference, or you have never created an Oxford Abstracts profile, you will need to create an account before being able to access the platform.

Please note that the platform is not open access. Access is restricted to registered conference participants.
Only presentations for which speakers provided permission to be recorded are available for viewing.
The virtual platform, including posters and session recordings, will remain available until September 30, 2026.

Open the session directly from the program and scroll down within the session page to view the recording.
